Opulent, brazen, supple.
An opulent nose adorns this 60% Cabernet Franc and 40% Malbec, which was harvested from sites in Franschhoek and Paarl and was aged in a mixture of new and older French oak demi-muids for 18 months.
Ouzo and black cherries, plums, liquid chocolate, finely ground baking spice aromas are lightly seasoned with with fleur de sel. The palate has a liqueur-like weight and flavours of preserved salted plums, cherry, espresso and bitter chocolate. Concentrated, supple and persistent, this is a brazen red perfect for BBQ, aged cheeses, grilled eggplant, and game.
